Championship Accumulator: West Ham to end miserable run at home

Published:

This week’s Championship accumulator comes in at over 16/1 as we expect West Ham and Brighton to clean up at home, while Blackpool and Millwall are set for victories on their travels.

Sam Allardyce’s side have drawn their last three at Upton Park but won’t slip up for a fourth successive time. The Hammers haven’t drawn back-to-back matches all season.

Doncaster meanwhile will be buoyed by their midweek victory at Forest, but Donny haven’t secured back-to-back wins all season. The Hammers are 4/11 to end their frustration at home.

Fellow promotion chasers Brighton are unbeaten in 11 Championship fixtures since the turn of the year and have taken maximum points from four of their last six league contests at the Amex Stadium.

Pompey meanwhile are now rock bottom and have taken just one point from a possible 12 since incurring a ten point deduction.

Michael Appleton’s men have lost three of their last four on the road and are 4/7 to leave the Amex empty handed.

Blackpool however are set to fare rather better on their travels as they head to London Road.

The Tangerines lost 2-1 at Derby on Tuesday but have responded to each of their last four league defeats with victory in their next outing.

The Posh have won just one of 12 in all competitions and lost 3-0 at home to Millwall midweek. And Darren Ferguson’s side have scored just once in their previous four clashes. An away win is worth 7/5.

Finally, Millwall have won three of their last four fixtures away from home in all competitions, scoring three on three separate occasions.

And though Forest were beginning to show signs of life, with seven points from nine, a home defeat to Doncaster called a prompt halt to their mini revival.

They have amassed 11 home defeats this season, at least three more than any other Championship club, and the Lions can be backed at 12/5.

Championship Accumulator selections:
West Ham to beat Doncaster @ 4/11
Brighton to beat Portsmouth @ 4/7
Blackpool to beat Peterborough @ 7/5
Millwall to beat Nottingham Forest @ 12/5
