Woods favourite for Pebble Beach as form begins to improve
Published:TIGER WOODS is the favourite to win at Pebble Beach this week, according to Ladbrokes.
The former world number one showed in Abu Dhabi that he was getting back to winning form, which chalks him up as the 4/1 favourite for victory, with Phil Mickelson his closest rival in the field at 16/1.
After the last two weeks on the US Tour that saw Kyle Stanley and Spencer Levin both capitulate in the fourth round, the firm will refund losing tournament winner bets if your player is leading at the end of the third round but falls at the last hurdle.
Levin earns himself a 33/1 quote and will be hoping to maintain his lead this time round.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It looks like Woods will lap up the competition this week. Mickelson’s been poor of late and he’ll need to step up his game for his first duel with Tiger this year.”
