Short-priced favourites aplenty in the 2012 Cheltenham odds

There are arguably more short-priced favourites than ever before in the Cheltenham odds for this year’s Festival, with punters believing that there are many good things that should register victory.

Big Buck’s and Quevega have been regular Cheltenham betting tips for punters in recent years and they will be returning again in a bid to retain their dominance of the Ladbrokes World Hurdle and David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle respectively.

Hurricane Fly and Sizing Europe are other defending champions punters seem keen to keep on the right side of and this pair go in search of back-to-back victories in the Champion Hurdle and Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Elsewhere, Long Run and Kauto Star will battle it out for the third time this season in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Grands Crus is fancied in the RSA Chase and Sprinter Sacre could produce the performance of the entire Festival in the Arkle Chase.
