Chances growing that Haye will make return to boxing ring

Published:

DAVID HAYE will come out of retirement during 2012, according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies quote Haye at 7/4 to return to the ring this year following his bust up with fellow Brit Dereck Chisora. Vitali Klitschko (9/4) is the favourite to take him on and provide Haye with a double beating by the brothers.

Chisora is chalked up at 5/1 by the firm as Haye’s next opponent but there’s also an 11/2 chance that Del Boy’s career grinds to a halt should he be banned for life by the BBBC on March 14th.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Haye loves the attention and patriotic punters would like to see him back in the ring. The pressure’s all on Haye though as the clear underdog.”
