The bookies make him odds-on at 8/11 to see red again this season but such is his talent that he’s also just 2/1 to grab a league hattrick during the remainder of the campaign. He’s 16/1 to win the prestigious PFA player of the year award next season and 25/1 to go one better and lift the Ballon d’Or.
In response to talk of unrest in this country he can be backed at 11/5 to not be a Premier League player for the first game of next season but remains odds-on at 1/3 to stay.
The madcap Italian’s crazy personal life means that another hefty cash donation to a member of the public can’t be ruled out at 1/4 while he’s 1/3 to be spotted out on the town with Manchester’s students.
