Ladbrokes are offering a host of great Mario Balotelli markets

MARIO BALOTELLI’S antics look set to continue both on and off the field this year according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies make him odds-on at 8/11 to see red again this season but such is his talent that he’s also just 2/1 to grab a league hattrick during the remainder of the campaign. He’s 16/1 to win the prestigious PFA player of the year award next season and 25/1 to go one better and lift the Ballon d’Or.

In response to talk of unrest in this country he can be backed at 11/5 to not be a Premier League player for the first game of next season but remains odds-on at 1/3 to stay.

The madcap Italian’s crazy personal life means that another hefty cash donation to a member of the public can’t be ruled out at 1/4 while he’s 1/3 to be spotted out on the town with Manchester’s students. Should his acts of generosity continue, the bookies will have to slash his current quote of 100/1 for TIME’s man of the year award. He’s also 500/1 to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Punters look set to profit if Balotelli’s roller coaster ride continues this year. Whilst he’s likely to get his marching orders again this season we expect him to right his wrongs with another charitable act.”

He added: “Providing he stays and focuses on his game we think he’s got the talent to be a real contender for top awards next season.”
