Ladbrokes odds suggest Scottish Independence is a real possibility
Published:SCOTLAND is 5/1 with Ladbrokes to have voted for its own independence by the end of July 2013.
Following reports that David Cameron is to offer Alex Salmond an 18 month window to arrange a referendum the bookies have responded to offer even shorter odds that the nation eventually votes yes for independence by 2015.
On the back of the potential shake up Scotland are also just 10/1 to use the Euro before the end of 2020.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The odds suggest that if the referendum can be arranged there’s a real chance Salmond gets his yes vote.”
