Ladbrokes World Championship: Wade to extend fine Klaasen record

Painter has been in top form in terms of hitting his doubles of late and a continuation of this can seem him edge through in a thriller with Walsh.
The Artist closed out matches impressively en route to winning the Players Championship at Doncaster earlier this month and was equally clinical in his opening round success over promising rookie Arron Monk, ending with a three-dart average over 95.
All of the last six meetings between the pair have been tight and so Painter to progress past Walsh with a 4-3 success generates some appeal in the set betting market at 4/1.
James Wade to beat Jelle Klaasen @ 1/7
Klaasen looks a massive price at 9/2 to achieve victory given his status as a former world champion in the BDC ranks, but it is hard to look beyond his shocking personal record against Wade.
Wade has triumphed in all of the 13 meetings between the duo since 2005 and obviously his throwing style must in some way upset the rhythm of the lightning fast Dutchman.
Klaasen has also dropped out of the world 32 in recent months because of his lacklustre present form.
Steve Farmer to beat Kevin Munch @ 2/5
Young German Munch will be pleased to have reached round two on his World Championships debut, despite this being under false pretences following the withdrawal of his opening round opponent Denis Ovens.
Farmer showed fine battling skills to eliminate the seeded Ronnie Baxter in his opening round game and a repeat of this level of performance should see him comfortably through.
