Get money back with Ladbrokes if Chelsea fail to qualify for knockouts
Published:Chelsea’s miserable domestic form appears to have finally improved following their 3-0 victory over Newcastle United – but in Europe they are still in a precarious situation.
Chelsea need to either win or hold Valencia to a goalless draw this Tuesday or they will fail to progress from the Champions League group stages for the first time and pile the pressure on Andre Villas-Boas.
Chelsea are the 8/11 favourites to win at Stamford Bridge but, if Valencia do upset the odds and gain a score draw or a victory to knock the Blues out, then at least Chelsea fans can console themselves knowing they can get money back on losing correct score and first player to score bets.
With Chelsea keeping just two clean sheets in their previous seven home games and Valencia not failing to score for their previous 13 games, backing the Blues to win 2-1 at 7/1 could lead to a very decent payout but, if it doesn’t, then there is a great chance of getting your money back.
Meanwhile, Didier Drogba is 9/2 to open the scoring and did just that against Newcastle on Saturday making it an extremely tempting bet.
