HARRY REDKNAPP looks likely to take charge of England after their Euro 2012 campaign, according to Ladbrokes.

The firm have opened the book on a number of potential outcomes for the next year and while the arrival of the Old Firm teams to the Premier League looks unlikely at 100/1, it’s just 5/1 that the world transfer record is broken. Manchester City are a side with the financial clout to do that and it’s 66/1 their manager actually comes to blows with Alex Ferguson. As both sides duel it out at the top of the table it’s 6/1 that either of them (or any other Premier League side) win a treble.

Of the potential technological developments that lie in wait goal-line technology is just 8/1 to be introduced in the football league pyramid and it’s 25/1 that a Premier League side install an artificial surface. A structural shake up in the top flight looks unlikely again at 100/1.

2012 also looks set to be a huge year in international terms and the 2012/1 on offer that a British side wins both the Champions League and Europa League along with wins for Team GB and England in the summer looks sure to be popular.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Punters will be banking on events in the summer to make their year. It will be a multi-million pound payday for patriots up and down the land if both sides do the business.”
