Fulham vs OB Odense: Cottagers to ensure Europa League progress

Published:

Fulham head into their final Group K game against Odense needing a win to guarantee progression to the next stage of the Europa League.

They are currently just one point ahead of Wisla Krakow who need a win against group winners FC Twente to have any hope of progression.

With Fulham’s home European record though, there’s little chance of them slipping up…

Match odds

Fulham’s home form in the Premier League may be rather erratic but in Europe they have been absolutely incredible at Craven Cottage.

Their 4-1 defeat of Wisla Krakow in their last home game means they have now gone 18 home games without defeat in the Europa League and they head into this Wednesday’s clash as big 2/9 favourites.

It’s not only the Cottagers’ home form that should give Fulham fans cause for optimism though, as the away performances of Odense have left a lot to be desired.

They have won just three of their previous 12 Europa League away games and are a massive 12/1 to win in West London.

Goal Markets

Odense may have lost four of their previous five Europa League away games but they have found the net in all of them.

They have actually scored ten in their last six Europa League away games and backing Fulham to win with both teams to score looks tempting at 12/5.

Meanwhile, Fulham have found the net in all of their previous 15 Europa League home games and hit four in their last one.

Backing over 3.5 goals could be well worth a punt at 13/8.
