Everton vs Norwich: In-form strikers give Canaries away chance

Norwich travel to Goodison Park in terrific spirits, sitting comfortably in 10th place in the Premier League.

They meet an Everton side who, whilst a decent price for home success at 8/13, have struggled to find consistency in a frustrating season so far.

David Moyes’ threadbare squad is being tested to the limit, and he has the exact opposite selection problem to that of Norwich manager Paul Lambert, with hardly any fit strikers to choose from.

Lambert meanwhile, has Grant Holt and Steve Morison firing on all cylinders, with the former Millwall striker notching five times in his past six games, and club captain Holt hitting three in three.

The Canaries are 9/2 to take three points that would see them soar higher up the table, whilst the draw is priced at 11/4.

Everton have drawn just one game this season in comparison with Norwich’s four stalemates, but it looks difficult to separate the two sides at this stage of the season, and so that 11/4 could be worth taking advantage of.

Under the guidance of Lambert, Norwich have earned a deserved reputation as a side with a never-say-die attitude, and this could stand them in good stead to achieve a point even if they do concede first at Goodison Park.

They managed to take a point back to Norfolk after going behind at Liverpool, and it is a massive 14/1 for the home side to be winning at half-time here, with the full-time result being a draw.

15/8 is also a superb price for Norwich to win either half, the Toffees are 3/10 to achieve the same feat.

Tim Cahill heads the first goal score market, priced at 9/2, but it could be worth backing an in-form Norwich attack to strike late on.

Both Grant Holt and Steve Morison are available at lengthy 8/1 odds to score last.
