Craig given chance to sing dream Lady Gaga track on X Factor

| 11.11.2011

Craig Colton has previously stated that the one song that he wanted to opportunity to perform on the X Factor was ‘Paparazzi’ by Lady Gaga and his wish seems set to be granted on the next live show.

With the theme of the show being hits by either Lady Gaga or Queen, Craig will never get a better chance to perform his ideal track and hopes to show another different side of himself.

Craig has mainly shone on the X Factor when performing ballads, but received positive feedback on the last club classics show with his up-tempo rendition of the DJ Sammy version of ‘Heaven’.

Performing this track with more attitude would be one way of showing a new side and if he is already comfortable with the song, he should easily be able to seal his X Factor survival for another week.

Craig remains popular at 7/2 in the X Factor betting to win the show.

The song choices of the other remaining acts are not so obvious, although Kitty may be feeling a bit let down having already performed tracks by both Queen and Lady Gaga in the series.

Predictions are rife over what songs some of the other acts will perform, with Misha B rumoured to be performing Lagy Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ or ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ from Queen’s song list.

Little Mix have hinted that they will be performing an up-tempo choreographed number and given that they have performed mainly current songs this series, a Lady Gaga track looks a certainty, with ‘Bad Romance’ a distinct possibility.

Meanwhile, Janet Devlin is likely to perform a song by Queen and X Factor betting favourite Marcus Collins could opt for more of a ballad after a few good weeks with faster tracks.
