Arsenal scoring four or more at Norwich may be bet of weekend

| 17.11.2011

Arsenal stuck five past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and there are a hatful of reasons to suggest that they could go goal crazy again in their next Premier League away game at Norwich.

After a difficult start, Arsenal have turned things around of late with nine victories in their last 11 fixtures in all competitions and they are 4/6 in the Premier League odds to continue their fine form with another success at Norwich.

Although the pair have not met too many times in recent seasons with Norwich fluctuating up and down the divisions, Arsenal have generally enjoyed their latest meetings with the Canaries.

Arsenal have scored at least four times in their last three clashes with Norwich and are unbeaten in 11 successive meetings with the opposition.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have also tended to have little difficulty finding the net on their travels this season.

Only Manchester City have managed more Premier League away goals than Arsenal in the present campaign, while Arsene Wenger has set his team up to score in all barring one of their last 15 away showdowns.

Throw in that Arsenal have scored at least three in their last three league games and broken down with ease the typically tight defence of Chelsea and there are enough reasons to suggest further goals at Carrow Road.

Norwich are also unlikely to do themselves any favours as they are known to play a particularly open style which could provide Arsenal added space in dangerous areas.

Norwich have shipped six goals in their last two fixtures and an in-form Robin Van Persie is not the ideal opponent for a team looking shaky in defence.

Arsenal’s odds of 9/2 to score four goals or more against Norwich looks good value, while the 13/8 that the game witnesses over 3.5 goals is another standout price for the encounter.
