Tulisa takes risk with song choices for groups on X Factor

A late song change was largely blamed for Frankie Cocozza finding himself in the bottom two on the second live show of the X Factor and despite mentor Gary Barlow being slightly criticised for his decision making, fellow judge Tulisa is taking a similar risk for week three.

Tulisa is already the only judge to be left with two acts in the competition following the exit of Nu Vibe, so logic would suggest that she will want to leave nothing to chance to ensure the best of The Risk and Rhythmix.

However, comments on Twitter suggest that she has been left in two minds as to which song she will give her two acts following the decision to change the theme of the week to rock.

She tweeted: ‘Time 4 bed now. Thinking of my song choices 4 my muffins…hmmmm, sweet dreams!’

With girl groups having a particularly bad record on the X Factor in the past, it could be Rhythmix who are most negatively influenced by the delay in confirming this week’s song choice.

Rhythmix are currently 6/1 in the X Factor betting to by the sixth elimination and an unimpressive performance would certainly see this price shorten ahead of the results show.

Song choices for the 11 remaining acts have been largely kept under wraps, although rumours suggest that Johnny Robinson will be bringing his best Justin Hakwins falsetto to the stage by performing ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ by The Darkness.

Meanwhile, there are talks that Misha B will be doing a rendition of a track by Linkin Park, with ‘Somewhere I Belong’ perhaps most appropriate for her time on the show so far.

Misha is currently 4/1 third favourite in the X Factor betting to win the show behind Janet Devlin and The Risk.
