Swansea vs Bolton: Dyer and Sinclair can tear Trotters apart

Published:

Swansea City continue to impress everyone who sees them play in the Premier League.

They were excellent for long periods against Wolves last weekend but defensive frailties allowed Mick McCarthy’s men back to bag a face-saving point.

Having not conceded in their opening four home games they have no such defensive problems at the Liberty Stadium and Bolton could be set for more misery this Saturday…

Match odds

Swansea have been excellent at home so far this season and, after opening with goalless draws against Wigan and Sunderland, saw off West Brom and Stoke 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.

They head into this game as favourites at 11/10 to make it a hat-trick of home wins and build on their first away point of the season against Wolves last Saturday.

Bolton have been fairly decent away from home this season though and have already beaten Wigan Athletic and QPR on the road.

That Wigan win is their only victory in their previous eight games though and the 5/2 for them to win should be approached with caution.

However, backing the draw (12/5) should be considered even more carefully – Bolton haven’t drawn a game in any competition since a 1-1 league game against Newcastle in February.

Goal markets

Nathan Dyer has been brilliant for the Swans all season, while Scott Sinclair finally showed what he is capable of with an excellent display against Wolves.

They will terrorise a Bolton defence that has the worst record in the Premier League, with Sinclair – who is Swansea’s penalty taker – 5/1 to find the net first and Dyer out at 4/1 to score at any time.

However, Swansea’s record signing, Danny Graham, is finding his feet at this level and has bagged three in his last three.

The former Watford man can be backed at 6/4 to make it four in four.
