Premier League: bet on Swansea and Norwich to entertain

Published:

Norwich City face probably their biggest game of the season so far this Saturday when they take on Swansea in the Premier League.

The Canaries may have faced Chelsea and Manchester United already this term, but home games against the likes of Swansea City are the matches the Canaries need to get points from.

The two sides have got off to solid starts and the only thing that separates them is alphabetical order, with both teams level on eight points in mid-table with a -3 goal difference.

Swansea may have the worst away record in the league so far, but games against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are hardly conducive with picking up points.

Therefore, this promises to be an extremely tight affair – especially considering Swansea’s recent record against the Norfolk side.

Swansea were brilliant in their last meeting and ran out 3-0 winners at the Liberty Stadium back in April.

Norwich won the encounter prior to that 2-0 loss, while the Swans won both of their games in the 2008/09 season.

Paul Lambert’s men are the favourites at 6/5, while Swansea are out at 9/4 to pick up their first Premier League away win.

However, with the previous four meetings yielding 13 goals (an average of over three goals per game) backing there to be plenty of goals looks worth a punt.

With two teams determined to play football and attack, over 2.5 goals can be backed at a very tempting 1/1.
