Ladbrokes take The Risk with X Factor money back special

| 15.10.2011

A group has still never won the X Factor and based on the latest money back offer, Ladbrokes expect this wait to continue.

One Direction, JLS and G4 are among the groups to have previously come closest to win the X Factor, but they have fallen at the final hurdle after reaching the final.

This year it is The Risk who are expected to survive the longest out of the three groups left in the competition and they are 11/2 at present in the X Factor odds to win the show.

But Ladbrokes are convinced that they will fall like others before them and have pledged to refund all outright losing bets on other acts if The Risk do triumph.

This applies to any bets placed between October 13th and October 23rd and punters may now want to wait until after the second live show before placing their bets.

This is because it is currently unknown which acts are most liked by the public as the decision was solely in the hands of judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa as to which four acts were the first to exit.

However, Alexandra Burke and Leon Jackson are examples of acts in the past that have won the X Factor having not been among the most fancied acts in a betting sense in the early shows.

Therefore, it may pay to take a risk on a slight underdog improving week-by-week and going on to win the show as this money back offer is in existence.

Marcus Collins from the boys’ category may well prove this act and he is currently 12/1 in the X Factor odds, while Sophie Habibis is 8/1 and has already surprised some by staying in the competition longer than early favourite Amelia Lily.
