Cheeky West Ham bid for Tevez rejected by Manchester City

Carlos Tevez may have been backed in to 1/ 6 to never start for Manchester City ever again but the club are not willing to let him go easily.

West Ham offered to take the striker back to Upton Park on loan, but Manchester CIty quickly rejected any hopes West Ham had of securing what would have been a dream deal.

Instead Tevez will continue to sit out the next two weeks as his future at the Etihad Stadium remains uncertain.

Corinthians, the Brazilian club that came the closest to securing Tevez’s signature in the summer, are not considering a loan move for the player at this current time and Tevez’s options are looking limited at the moment.

The player is refusing to apologise to his manager Roberto Mancini and continues to claim that he has done nothing wrong, citing a misunderstanding during Manchester City’s Europa League tie with Bayern Munich.

Mancini has said that Tevez will never play for the club again and a lack of apology from Tevez suggests the two men have not, and are not, willing to settle the matter.

Which means one of them will have to go and it’s difficult seeing the Manchester City board siding with a player that has wanted out of the club for almost a year.
