The Safety Net: Rely on Dzeko to fire Bosnia to victory over Belarus

Published:

With a host of Euro 2012 qualifying games taking place tonight, there are no shortage of safety net bet options and it has been decided that Bosnia look the biggest bankers in their Group D encounter with Belarus.

The safety net bet started the week promisingly yesterday when Switzerland’s under-21 side won their Euro 2013 qualifier with Croatia 4-0.

We are hoping that Bosnia can produce something similar tonight as they look to preserve their position at the head of the chasing pack behind France.

Bosnia have only met Belarus once before at senior international level, which was last week in another Euro 2012 qualifier.

It was the Bosnians who triumphed on this occasion 2-0 and they should be able to do the Group D double over the opposition now they are back on their own patch.

This victory saw Bosnia leapfrog Belarus in the Group D standings, while they still have played a game less.

Belarus are only realistically still in contention for second spot because of their home form, as they have only triumphed in one of their three games on the road, which includes a draw in Luxembourg.

This adds weight to Bosnia’s claims as does the fact that they have Edin Dzeko in their ranks, who has started the season impressively at Manchester City with six goals in their opening three games of the Premier League campaign.

Bosnia are 4/7 in the Euro 2012 odds to beat Belarus and because of this we will be staking £35 on this result to fulfil the aim of the safety net bet to make £20 each day.

Wealth warning: although we are confident the safety net bet’s strategy will be profitable over a period of time, the nature of sport means we cannot guarantee you will win every single time.
