The Europa League Accumulator: Stoke and Fulham lead 79/1 payout

Published:

With the first gameweek of Europa League fixtures done and dusted, it is slightly easier to identify which teams will take the competition seriously and which will use it to rest their star players for important domestic fixtures.

So we have identified six results that pay 79/1 in the Europa League odds for an accumulator.

Stoke are one team keen to do well in the competition and have never lost in their four career European home games.

They host a Besiktas team that have lost their last two European away fixtures without even managing to score and have not been playing well domestically of late.

It is certainly safe to say that Besiktas are far more dangerous on their home patch and with Chelsea and Manchester United both failing to win at Stoke this season, it is unlikely that the Turkish club will manage to.

Although OB Odense are pretty solid at home, their dire record against English opposition means that Fulham can leave Denmark with victory.

Odense have never beaten an English side and finished bottom of their Europa League group last season, which should give Fulham encouragement.

Elsewhere, Udinese may be preparing to leave out leading marksman Antonio Di Natale, but they still look overpriced to win at Celtic.

Celtic’s recent form domestically and in Europe has been poor and their lack of pace and movement in defence can be exploited by a team that pushed Arsenal close in Champions League qualifying.

Vaslui almost beat Lazio in their opening group game and can have more joy back in Romania against FC Zurich, Salzburg can triumph against Slovan Bratislava and Rubin Kazan can make it two wins out of two against PAOK.

Rubin Kazan to beat PAOK @ 4/7

Stoke to beat Besiktas @ 10/11
