Tevez 1/3 never to start for Man City again after Munich meltdown

It was a miserable night in Munich for Manchester City and, according to Ladbrokes, things look set to get even worse.

As well as slumping to a lacklustre 2-0 defeat against the Germans, Carlos Tevez had an almighty tantrum and refused to come on as a substitute for Samir Nasri which looks to have ended his controversial City career.

When asked if Tevez’s time at City was over, Roberto Mancini said: “If I have my way he will be out. He’s finished with me.

“If we want to improve as a team Carlos can’t play with us. With me, he is finished.”

Tevez is now 1/3 with Ladbrokes never to start again for the Citizens which, after the events of last night and the words of Mancini, looks well worth backing.

Meanwhile, City are now third in Group A after picking up a draw Against Napoli and being completely outclassed by Bayern last night.

With two tough games against Villarreal still to come – as well as a trip to Napoli and a home game against Bayern – City have their work cut out to make it to the knockout stages.

They have drifted to 5/4 to qualify from Group A and are in at 4/7 to fall at the first hurdle.

Their chances of winning the group look to have all but disappeared with City out at 6/1 to top the table – third in the betting behind Bayern Munich at 1/4 and Napoli at 9/2.
