Italian giants Milan are a huge price to belittle Barca at the Nou Camp

Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side suffered a setback last Saturday when drawing 2-2 with Real Sociedad, and the setbacks could keep on coming come Tuesday evening.

Italian giants AC Milan travel to the Nou Camp in what’s easily the most exciting tie of the opening round of group games and Massimiliano Allegri’s side are available at a huge 9/1 to win.

Granted, AC Milan don’t win away from home that often but the Italian champions are five-time winners of Europe’s top trophy and the bookmakers may have overestimated Barcelona.

Match odds

AC Milan opened their Serie A season with a 2-2 draw at home to Lazio last Friday and goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Cassano mean the strike force is already firing.

When you can boast a forward line of Ibrahimovic, Cassano, Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Flippo Inzaghi, you should never be 9/1 to win a football match and Barcelona have their work cut out.

Barcelona are the 1/4 favourites to win and their home form is impressive – they lost just once at home in normal time last season.

But Rubin Kazan proved it is possible to get a result at the Nou Camp back in 2009 and considering Milan have lost just the once in three matches at the Nou Camp, the 9/1 is starting to look pretty healthy.

However, such is Barcelona’s home record that it is difficult to see the Italian’s taking all three points and the draw looks the best value at 5/1.

Total Goals

With two incredible attacking line-ups on show it’s fair to believe there are goals in this game.

A 2-2 draw is available at 20/1 while a 3-3 draw is available at 60/1, however it’s the 6/5 for over 3.5 goals that appeals.

Alexis Sanchez may be out for the forseeable future but Cesc Fabregas’ start to Barcelona life has been incredible and the former Arsenal midfielder looks a great bet at 7/4 to score any time.

Ibrahimovic will not play against his former team on Tuesday and so we’re favourign Pato to get the Milan goals and he is 10/3 to score at any time.

Pizen vs BATE Borisov

In the group’s other game we have two fairly unknown sides but Borisov’s performances in the Europa League last season means we’re backing them at 3/1 to win.
