Bookies to pay the penalty as Norwich host Sunderland

| 26.09.2011

IF A penalty is awarded to Sunderland in their Monday night game against Norwich, Ladbrokes will refund all losing win/draw/win bets.

Norwich are marginal 7/5 favourites in a game which looks appears a tough puzzle to solve with the draw priced at 23/10 and Sunderland 2/1 for the away win.

Should the concession hit, it’s 2/1 the subsequent penalty is scored and 9/1 it’s missed.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Games involving Norwich have had a habit of throwing up penalties of late. If one is awarded to Sunderland we’ll be refunding all losing match bets – punters needn’t look anywhere else if they’re having a bet on the Monday night game.”
