X Factor finalists go head to head in the charts

Will Young will win the battle of the X Factor finalists this weekend according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies are so sure Young will top the album charts on Sunday they’re offering odds of just 1/20 his album goes in at number one. It’s an even shorter 1/50 that his album charts higher than Joe McElderry’s.

In the singles chart Olly Murs is another graduate of the talent show who should be set for a successful weekend with odds of 1/5 suggesting his single ‘Heart Skips’.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It would rank as one of the biggest shocks in music betting history if Young didn’t hit the top this weekend. He looks nailed on to beat McElderry and Murs should run a big race in the singles chart as well.”
