US Open Accumulator: Djokovic and Nadal head our 90/1 selections

Published:

Pre-tournament favourites Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal get their US Open challenges underway today, and we expect both to progress with ease.

The world number one and two are very short odds to win today but by combining them in an accumulator, punters can find decent US Open odds today.

We expect Jo-Wilifried Tsonga, Stanislas Wawrinka and Fernando Verdasco to seal their places in the second round and they are our five bankers today.

The in-form James Blake should have too much for Jesse Huta Galung while Donald Young’s class should prevail in his tie with Slovakian Lukas Lacko.

Florian Mayer has struggled for hard-court form in recent weeks but so to has Adrian Mannarino and the German looks a decent bet at 2/5.

Ernests Gulbis and Mikhail Youzhny meet for the fourth time and Gulbis can make it three wins to one in the series while Edouard Roger-Vasselin can do the same to Gilles Muller.

Steve Darcis can upset Dmitry Tursunov in the same way he did last week and Blas Kavcic can upset the injured Ivan Ljubicic who is yet to be seen on a hard court since Miami back in March.
