The League One sides to back in your Saturday accumulator

Early League One pacesetters Charlton and Sheffield United both look good to continue their impressive starts to the season, but Huddersfield’s stuttering form shows no sign of letting up.

Read our Championship and League Two previews for the best bets in the respective leagues and combine the picks to land a healthy accumulator.

Charlton to beat Scunthorpe at 8/11

Charlton have come out the traps flying this season and are one of only two sides with a 100% record from the first three games.

They have scored seven times in three matches, and despite Scunthorpe having a decent record at the Valley we’re backing Charlton to continue setting the pace in the division with a win here.

Scunthorpe have struggled for form early on this season and are yet to notch a win, with that statistic unlikely to change on Saturday.

Sheffield United to beat Tranmere at 11/8

Sheffield United are the only other unbeaten team in League One and the Blades have a good record at Prenton Park having only lost twice in nine visits.

Rovers have won two of their three League One fixtures this term sitting in sixth place, but with United at 5/1 to win the title this season, we’re backing them to gain valuable points on the road.

Richard Cresswell has scored in all three of United’s league games this season and looks like a decent bet to open the scoring at 5/1.

Huddersfield to draw with Colchester at 5/2

Colchester have never won away at Huddersfield, but have drawn five of the ten matches between the sides in Yorkshire.

Lee Clarke’s Huddersfield side were many punters favourites for the title this season, but despite a poor start which has seen them draw all three of their opening fixtures, their odds for the title still remain at 7/1.

They will be looking to kick start their season with a win in this fixture, but Colchester have travelled well so far this season picking up a win and a draw from two games on the road and we’re backing them to grab a point in this encounter.
