Moody slashed for skipper
Published:Lewis Moody’s odds of leading England out against Argentina have been cut by Ladbrokes.
Moody is now the even money favourite (from 2/1) to take the armband from Mike Tindall at 2/1.
Nick Easter drifts to 8/1 and Jonny Wilkinson is out to 25/1. It’s now 20/1 (from 8/1) any other player captains the side.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “A fit Moody would be long odds-on for the armband. He’s been cut for the duty on the basis he’ll be ready for action and if not Tindall looks likely to deputise.”
