England 1/6 to be top Test side in the world
Published:England are now just 1/6 to become the top ranked test side in the world according to Ladbrokes.
Following their second victory against the tourists they are slashed to 1/100 to win the series with the draw the only other option for India at 16/1.
It’s 7/4 the next match is a tie with India 7/2 chances. England are even money to wrap the series up at Edgbaston.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We’re not ducking England yet. India have players to come back and they were odds-on for long periods in the last test.”
He added: “It was another superb result for us. The draw was well backed and India were supported through the rates until Broad changed the game.”
