The Safety Net – Dancer to prove Poetry in motion at Ascot

Published:

The safety net bet is currently enjoying its longest winning streak of eight successive victories and we see no sign of it coming to an end today as Poetic Dancer looks to have everything in her favour at Ascot.

Teo’s Sister made a winning debut at Leopardstown yesterday, although a lack of support on course saw her odds drift from 10/11 to a starting price of 9/4.

However, the fact that John Oxx’ filly claimed victory was all that mattered and took our balance to £260.50, which is a new record high.

Our next bet to meet our aim of making £20 each day again is on the horses, with Poetic Dancer 1/1 to win the Bourne Capital Novice Stakes at 15:25 at Ascot.

The big factor in the favour of Poetic Dancer is that she is receiving 8lb in weight from leading rival Red Seventy, despite having a higher Racing Post Rating and Top Speed Rating.

Meanwhile, of the 13 tipsters that made a selection on the outcome of the Class Four contest in the Racing Post, 12 napped Poetic Dancer.

The form of Poetic Dancer is also tough to oppose as she has run well on each of her two starts.

She finished third on debut behind Best Terms, who has since gone on to win the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, while she then triumphed cosily at Newbury in May, when looking like she had a bit in hand.

We will be staking £20 of our balance on Poetic Dancer making it back-to-back successes and continuing our own winning streak.

Current Status:
Bank: £260.50
Today’s stake: £20
Best case scenario: £280.50
Worst case scenario: £240.50

Last Safety Net bet: Teo’s Sister winning 17:45 Leopardstown @ 10/11

Wealth warning: although we are confident the safety net bet’s strategy will be profitable over a period of time, the nature of sport means we cannot guarantee you will win every single time.
