Man Utd 66/1 for domestic treble, 250/1 for quadruple

This has already been a big summer in the transfer market for Manchester United and with further signings expected at Old Trafford ahead of the new season, there is certainly a major possibility that they could significantly challenge for four trophies.

Phil Jones, Ashley Young and David De Gea have already arrived, while rumours persist that Manchester United will sign another central midfielder to complete the final piece of their jigsaw.

Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder is the biggest name linked, but Sir Alex Ferguson is also mulling over whether to opt for greater Premier League experience with Luka Modric or Samir Nasri.

The signing of Nasri remains a potential problem though as Arsenal will want to do everything in their power to prevent one of their leading assets signing for their title rivals.

Meanwhile, with Tottenham currently pricing Modric in the region of £45m , unless Manchester United can barter them down somewhat, it is unlikely that any deal will be agreed.

Despite a promising campaign last season, Manchester United ended with only the Premier League trophy, as they lost in the final of the Champions League and the semi finals of the FA Cup.

It is 8/11 that Manchester United secure at least one trophy this season and 7/4 that it is the Premier League for the second season running.

However, prices are available for a combination of trophies and it is 250/1 that Manchester United complete the quadruple of the Premier League, FA Cup, Carling Cup and Champions League.

Alternatively, it is 66/1 that Manchester win the trophies they fared well in last season – the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

It is also 66/1 that the Red Devils complete the domestic treble and just 10/1 that they do the double of the Premier League and Champions League.
