Katy Perry’s Firework heads VMA Video of the year betting
Published:Katy Perry is the even money favourite with Ladbrokes to win this year’s MTV VMA Video of the year.
Her Firework heads the betting from UK hope Adele (Rolling in the Deep) at 2/1. Bruno Mars is next at 3/1 leaving Tyler, The Creator at 4/1 for his ‘Yonkers’.
Despite a star studded video the Beastie Boys’ ‘Make Some Noise’ is a 7/1 outsider for the gong.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We expect Perry to mobilise her huge fan base and secure the votes needed for the most prestigious of the VMA’s. Every video is in with a chance however as there have been shocks in the past.”
