Heathrow evens to get a third runway with Ladbrokes
Published:The third Runway at Heathrow will solve Britain’s aerospace headache according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies are now betting on which expansion plan will open first and make Heathrow their even money favourite to build and open the new runway before any other plan.
It’s 13/8 a second runway at Gatwick is up and running before any other development with a brand new airport in the Thames Estuary 4/1 to be launched first.
Stansted’s new runway (8/1) and a high speed rail link to Birmingham and their airport (25/1) are the outsiders.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It’s up in the air at the moment but we fancy Heathrow. Stansted looks unlikely to get off the ground any time soon.”
