England’s first match opponents Spain are the 7/4 favourites for the tournament and it’s even money they beat England on Sunday. England and the draw can be backed at 11/5 each.
England are also a top-priced 11/4 to win their group and it’s 5/4 they are eliminated at this stage. They’re 9/4 to go out in the semis and 9/2 to finish runners up.
Spain’s Krkic (5/1 & Lopez (7/1) are the favourites for the tournament top goalscorer with England’s Sturridge an 8/1 chance.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We think England’s youngsters will face a tough challenge in a group housing favourites Spain. The Czech republic can’t be taken lightly and we also rate Iceland as dark horses.”
