Eavis has a Gromble
Published:The Wombles are 4/1 with Ladbrokes to be dropped from the Glastonbury line-up after organiser, Michael Eavis, admitted it to be “a bit of a mistake”.
Uncle Bulgaria and co. are set to appear at the Somerset festival alongside such stars as U2 and Beyoncé, but with Farmer Eavis less than pleased with the booking Womble fans may be left disappointed.
David Williams from Ladbrokes said: “It’s hard to imagine the Wombles hanging out backstage with the likes of Bono, Chris Martin and Beyoncé. If Eavis has his way organisers will already be looking for a replacement.”
The Wombles are 10/1 to appear on X Factor this year and are 50/1 for the Christmas number 1 prize.
