Clarke in the dock again – Huntsman slashed to be President

Published:

Ken Clarke has once again been backed to leave Cabinet according to Ladbrokes.

Political betting experts have decided his time is up and the money is mounting on a swift exit.

He’s now 6/1 (from 10/1) to be the next out with Chris Huhne easing to 5/4 (from even money) in response.

John Huntsman’s odds of becoming president have been slashed from 200/1 into 14/1 as he mounts his campaign. He’s also 6/1 (from 66/1) to be the Republican nominee.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The vultures are circling around Clarke. Punters are all over him to leave and with Huhne slipping off the radar he could be the favuorite to go soon.”

he added: “There was shrewd money for Huntsman at a massive price. His odds have now tumbled and we’re watching his progress closely.”
