With Green Destiny performing better on a softer surface, the decision was made for the horse to forego the 1m contest on Wednesday on good ground, in favour of the Wolferton, which is run over 2f further.
The recent rain that has arrived at Ascot will be a plus for Green Destiny as he steps up in distance and all connections are positive that the decision to change race was the right one.
Green Destiny has won on each of his last three starts, including when looking a smart prospect to surge clear of a decent field at Newmarket last time.
He is 7/4 in the Royal Ascot odds to win the Wolferton Handicap and can follow Rainbow Peak last year, who became a rare favourite to triumph in the race.
A statistic that also bodes well for Green Destiny is that four-year-olds have won the Listed Race in seven of the last eight years.
Among the opposition for Green Destiny is Right Step, who certainly warrants a change of luck having finished second on all of his last four starts.
The fact that Right Step has only triumphed once in his 16 career starts is worrying, but the horse does not often run a bad race and could be worth consideration each-way at 16/1.
Lost In The Moment has done most of his recent running in Meydan and warrants respect because he comes from the yard of Saeed Bin Suroor.
The jockey booking of young Epsom Derby winner Mickael Barzalona could also be significant and Lost In The Moment could pose the biggest threat to Green Destiny at odds of 7/1.
