Undefeated Djokovic 50/1 to face Nadal in all three Grand Slam finals

They may not rival his epic clashes with Roger Federer, but Rafael Nadal’s clashes with Novak Djokovic look set to become a staple of the 2011 tennis season.

With the French Open just a week away Djokovic enhanced his chances of victory with a second straight sets win over Nadal in the space of two weeks, stretching his unbeaten run to 39 matches.

The Serb is yet to be beaten in 2011 and having dominated the master of clay in his last two tournaments, the 5/4 for Djokovic to win the French Open could be the value bet of the year so far.

Well it would be if Ladbrokes wern’t offering 50/1 that Djokovic and Nadal compete in every remaining Grand Slam final between now and the end of 2011.

Djokovic’s unbeaten run proves he’s in the form of his life but while Nadal is being overshadowed by the Serb, the world number one is still head and shoulders above his fellow tour professionals.

Roger Federer has made just two ATP Tour finals in eight starts this year and while the Swiss continues to reach the latter stages of tournaments, his defeat to Richard Gasquet in Rome last week suggests Federer is struggling for form.

After his semi-final defeat to Djokovic last week Andy Murray has been talking up his form, but that’s his first strong performance in a ATP Tour event since losing the Australian Open final and the Scot still has some way to go to catch Djokovic and Nadal.

Robin Soderling couldn’t attract money in the tennis betting even if he was selling lottery tickets and Tomas Berdych has made just one semi-final this season in 10 starts.

The form of the world’s top two is so strong that it’s difficult to see anyone infiltrating their rivalry throughout the rest of the season.

A £10 stake on Djokovic and Nadal contesting the three remaining Grand Slam finals would return £510. Sign up here to take advantage of a free bet worth up to £30.
