Further disruption at Blackburn ahead of survival Sunday

Steve Kean has been unable to concentrate all of his focus into Blackburn’s battle with relegation this week after being flown to India for meetings with the club’s owners.

Blackburn need a victory from their final game at Wolves to guarantee their Premier League survival this season, but have had to rely on assistant manager John Jensen to take important training sessions.

Kean has had to embark on a 22-hour round trip to Pune to meet with the Venky Group, with this being the third disruptive situation that has occurred at Blackburn in the matter of days.

Manager Kean has already been charged with drink driving after being stopped hours after Blackburn’s valuable draw with Manchester United and now faces a day in court next month.

Meanwhile, speculation has also evolved about an illegal bung claim that helped Gael Givet complete his move from Marseille in 2009.

All of these situations will only have a negative impact on Blackburn as they prepare for their clash at Wolves and it is 11/5 that they leave Molineux with a victory.
