Bet on Blackpool to come out all guns blazing says Paul Scholes

Published:

Paul Scholes is expecting another thrilling game against Blackpool after their first clash this season ended in an exhilarating 3-2 win for United.

United went 2-0 down in that game before a brilliant fight back saw them emerge with all three points.

Since then things have got progressively worse for the Seasiders who now probably need to win at Old Trafford to have any chance of staying in the Premier League.

It will be a tough task for Ian Holloway’s men, but Scholes admits he is full of admiration for the way the minnows have played this season and reckons the champions could be in for a tough game.

“[Ian Holloway] has been great for Blackpool. The way they have approached the season is a breath of fresh air.
“They want to come out and score goals and even against us, I am sure they won’t just try to sneak the odd goal and defend.”

A repeat of the 3-2 score line from earlier in the season can be backed at 20/1. However, as we said yesterday, Blackpool will have their work cut out to bag just one goal at Old Trafford.

United have dropped just two points at home this season and with Blackpool set to leave space at the back as they chase the goals that could keep them in the Premier League, there could be a very strong case for backing over 2.5 goals at 8/15.

A £30 stake on Manchester United beating Blackpool 4-0 would return £600. New customers can sign up here for a free £30 bet.
