West Brom vs Liverpool – Liverpool are the best bet this weekend

Published:

West Bromwich Albion may be unbeaten in their last five games – four of them were draws – but Liverpool can stoke up the pressure on Tottenham Hotspur by taking all three points on Saturday.

All eyes will be on Roy Hodgson who’s West Brom side have found their form in recent weeks, but while Hodgson has a score to settle, it’s Kenny Dalglish who will emerge victorious from the dugout.

Match Odds

With such a dominant Premier League record over their hosts, Liverpool are incredible value at 13/10 to win considering in the nine Premier League ties that these two have played in, Liverpool have won all nine and are yet to concede a goal.

West Brom are 21/10 to win and stretch their unbeaten home run to six games, and while Scott Carson joins Hodgson with a point to prove, Liverpool, who remain without Steven Gerrard, have lost just one of their last nine league games.

West Brom may be unbeaten in five but they have won just two of their last 14 Premier League games and the draw may come into the equation and is available at 9/4.

Total Goals

West Brom’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out means they have now gone 28 games without a clean sheet and the in-form Luis Suarez can destroy a West Brom side that has conceded 15 goals in their last eight games.

Suarez is 4/1 to get the first goal on Saturday and having got the winner and considering Dalglish’s side have kept three clean sheets in their last four league games, the 5/2 for Liverpool to win to nil offers plenty of value.

Under 2.5 goals is favoured at 4/6 and while Liverpool should win comfortably, it may only be by a slim margin and a 2-0 win for Liverpool looks a strong bet at 11/1.

A £20 stake on Wigan beating Spurs 2-1 would return £220. New customers can sign up here to get £60 in free bets.
