Sevilla 1/1 to extend dominant home record over Villarreal

Villarreal will still harbour hopes of finishing third in La Liga this season to avoid having to enter the qualifying stages of the Champions League, but recent history suggests that they will struggle to collect a vital three points at Sevilla.

The Yellow Submarines are virtually guaranteed fourth spot at worst in La Liga, but will still believe they can catch Valencia in third, who are six points ahead and have played a game more.

Villarreal are 13/5 in the La Liga betting to cut their deficit to three points by winning away to Sevilla, although their chances are not aided by the fact they have lost on eight of their last nine visits to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in the Spanish top flight.

Sevilla’s odds are 1/1 to continue their fine record against the opposition and are also currently enjoying a six-game unbeaten run at home this season.

If Villarreal are to secure maximum points they may have to improve on a goal ratio that has seen them fail to score more than single goal in any of their last seven league fixtures.

Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are two of the teams battling to finish in the Europa League qualification places and the latter host Levante in their next La Liga showdown.

Atletico are 8/15 favourites and head into the game having been beaten only once in their last nine fixtures.

Sergio Aguero has significantly helped in this time with goals in his last five games and he is the 3/1 favourite to open the scoring.

However, Levante are one of the form teams in La Liga at present, with Barcelona the only side able to better their return of 27 points from their last 12 games.

Levante are therefore a big price at 11/2 to take maximum points, even though they have not even managed to score in their last five away trips to Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

A £30 stake on Levante beating Atletico Madrid would return £165. New customers can sign up here for a free £30 bet.
