O’Sullivan still odds-on for major competition success

RONNIE O’SULLIVAN is odds-on (1/2) with Ladbrokes to win a major competition within the next three years.

It’s 6/4 he fails to win any of the BBC competitions in that time and the bet would be an instant winner should he defy odds of 7/1 to win the World Championships this month.

John Higgins is currently the 5/1 favourite for the tournament, with only Mark Selby ahead of O’Sullivan at 6/1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Despite a disappointing performance in China we still expect O’Sullivan to pick up at least one major trophy in the next three years. The odds suggest the special has a good chance of collecting as soon as this month.”
