Ladbrokes offer free Grand National competition to win £5,000
Published:Picking the winner from the Grand National odds could be worth £5,000 to one lucky punter thanks to a Ladbrokes competition that is free to enter.
By visiting https://competitions.ladbrokes.com/ruk/, punters are given the tough task of uncovering the winners of the opening six races on Grand National day.
Ten points are awarded for each winning selection, with double points on offer for picking the Grand National victor.
Picking horses that feature in the places could also be critical in the accumulation of points, as six points are awarded for a horse that finishes second and four points for a third-place finisher.
The entrant with the most points out of the possible 70 after the six races will get £5,000 credited to their Ladbrokes account, which can then be withdrawn.
A £50 free bet will also be issued for each of their first nine runners up.
Punters interested in taking part who do not have a Ladbrokes account need not fear as they can sign up here, without the need to deposit any money into it.
However, with the opportunity to take advantage of £60 in free bets when opening a new account, some punters may want to add some funds to place a bet on the Grand National.
Some superstar horses are available for selection on Saturday, with The Midnight Club currently the 8/1 favourite in the Grand National odds and last year’s winner Don’t Push It is 12/1.
Elsewhere on the card, Binocular is one of the fancied contenders in the Aintree Hurdle, alongside Champion Hurdle runner-up Peddlers Cross.
Cue Card and Sam Winner are among the horses entered into the Mersey Novices’ Hurdle, while Arkle runner-up Finian’s Rainbow will be looking to go one better in the Maghull Novices’ Chase.
