Brighton to seal League One promotion with victory

Published:

Brighton are now just one win away from securing automatic promotion to the Championship and it is 1/2 in the League One odds that this victory arrives at home to Dagenham and Redbridge.

Eight wins in nine league games have taken Gus Poyet’s team to the brink of promotion and they have only lost one of their last 16.

This winning sequence also includes a win away to the Daggers last month.

Dagenham and Redbridge are in even more desperate need of the win as they continue their fight against relegation and are 11/2 to secure maximum points.

Martin Allen has been brought into Notts County with the only priority of keeping them in League One this season and this challenge begins with an away clash with Yeovil.

Seven straight defeats has resulted in Notts County dropping into the relegation places and Allen has seven games to lift them out of the bottom four.

It is 11/4 in the League One odds that his first game as manager ends in victory, which would also extend Yeovil’s recent record to three successive defeats.

Yeovil are 1/1 to beat Notts County, with the draw priced at 12/5.

Southampton have taken pole position in the League One standings to take the second automatic spot behind Brighton and they will be keen to strengthen their position further with a win at Rochdale.

The Saints have won seven of their last eight league games and are 1/1 to maintain this winning run.

However, Rochdale beat Southampton earlier in the campaign and know that if they win all of their six remaining League One games then a place in the play-offs is in their own hands.

Rochdale are 11/4 to beat Southampton, with the draw available at 12/5.

A £30 stake on Brighton beating Dagenham and Redbridge 2-0 would return £180. New customers can sign up here for a free £30 bet.
