Vettel odds-on for Drivers Championship after first Grand Prix

SEBASTIAN VETTEL is odds-on to win the Drivers Championship with Ladbrokes after the first Grand Prix of the season.

A 9/4 chance for the title before the first race, he is now slashed to 8/11 with Lewis Hamilton cut to 4/1.

Red Bull are also into just 1/2 for the Constructors’ Championship with McLaren 10/3 shots. Mercedes drift to 25/1 from 8/1 with Ferrari out to 5/1 from 9/4.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Vettel’s victory was impressive and as such we’re not taking any chances in the outright market. Ferrari and Mercedes are the big drifters in the Constructors as Red Bull appear to be taking an early stranglehold.”
