Orient to continue charge against out-of-form Oldham

Published:

Leyton Orient are the most in form team in League One at present and 4/5 looks a great price that they continue this run at home to free-falling Oldham next.

Orient have won their last three home games and are unbeaten at Brisbane Road since November.

Meanwhile, they have taken 16 points from their last six league games, which is in stark contrast to the miserable run currently being experienced at Oldham.

Oldham are without a win in eight league games, losing five of the last six of these.

It is 10/3 in the League One betting that Oldham regain some form by beating Orient and 5/2 that they slow Orient’s push for the play-off places by securing a draw.

Alongside Orient, Peterborough are another team on the rise, with five wins in six league games taking them to within two points of the automatic promotion places.

Peterborough host Carlisle next and are 8/11 to claim another victory.

The Posh have won both of their last two meetings against Carlisle 1-0 and it is 6/1 that this is the final score in their favour again.

Undoubtedly the biggest game in League One sees two of the promotion favourites go head-to-head in a south coast derby as Southampton make the short trip to Bournemouth.

The pair have already clashed on two occasions this season, with Southampton gaining the bragging rights in each instance thanks to successive 2-0 victories.

Southampton’s betting odds are 11/8 to triumph again, while it is 8/1 that they complete the hat-trick of 2-0 successes.

In Bournemouth’s favour is that they tend to be far better at home than away and 15/8 seems a particularly large price that they will land the spoils.

A £25 stake on Leyton Orient beating Oldham 4-1 would return £825. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
