Chesterfield a huge price once again in the League Two betting

Published:

If Manchester United were playing Aston Villa at Old Trafford this week, you can guarantee that they wouldn’t be as long as 8/11 to beat them, but League Two leaders Chesterfield find themselves 8/11 to beat mid-table Northampton.

The Spireites continue to dominate League Two and having won four of their last five, they are a huge price at 8/11 against a side that haven’t won in eight matches.

Northampton seem short at 4/1 considering they have only registered two wins over Chesterfield in 17 attempts and are yet to beat Chesterfield on their home turf, but with six draws in those 17, Cobblers fans can pray for a draw – priced at 5/2.

With 11 wins and three defeats at home, Chesterfield’s home form is solid and a repeat of last season’s 1-0 win is priced at 6/1.

Bury vs Morecambe

Bury have never lost at home to Morecambe and after their 4-1 thumping of Morecambe at the Globe Arena earlier in the season, Bury look a good bet at 4/6 to win on Tuesday.

Unbeaten in five, Bury have scored three in each of their last three games and a 3-0 win for the Shakers is available at 11/1 and top scorer Ryan Lowe with 27 league goals is 3/1 to open the scoring.

Morecambe are available at 4/1 and have beaten Bury on three occasions in their eight-game history, but all of those wins came at home.

Shrewsbury vs Port Vale

Incredibly Port Vale and Shrewsbury have only met five times and the Shrews are yet to record a win against Vale, leaving the Valiants a great bet at 12/5.

Vale have won on both of their visits to the New Meadow and while Shrewsbury have drawn twice with Port Vale, the Shrews best hope of a result is a draw priced at 12/5.

A £25 double on Chesterfield and Bury would return £71.75. New customers can sign up here for a free bet worth £25.
