Brighton 4/9 to beat woefully out-of-form Swindon

Published:

Brighton look unstoppable in League One at present and they should be supported to extend their winning streak to seven games by beating Swindon.

Gus Poyet’s team have proved particularly dominant at home, where they have won their last nine games in all competitions, and it is 4/9 in the League One betting that they defeat Swindon.

Meanwhile, Brighton have not been beaten at home since Leyton Orient left with three points at the start of October.

Swindon are the latest visitors to the Withdean Stadium and their chances of victory are not aided by the fact that they have not secured maximum points since January 3rd, a run of 15 league fixtures.

This form has seen them slip six points from safety in League One, but a triumph over the league leaders would hand them the ultimate confidence boost.

Swindon are 6/1 to beat Brighton and they have triumphed in three of the last four showdowns between the pair.

Leyton Orient had been on a magical run of form to climb the League One standings into the play-off places, but have threatened to undo their solid work of late.

Two games without a win has seen Orient drop four points away from sixth spot and the pressure is on them to return to winning ways at home to Yeovil.

Orient’s betting odds are 5/6 to beat Yeovil, with the visitors 16/5 to land the spoils.

Bournemouth are another side suffering a dip in form with three straight defeats and they host Charlton next.

It is 10/11 in the League One betting that Bournemouth beat Charlton and they have lost only one of their last nine at home.

Charlton have lost seven of their last nine, but are 3/1 to win for the first time since the middle of February.

A £20 stake on Brighton beating Swindon 3-0 would return £140. New customers can sign up here to take advantage of free bets totalling up to £60.
