Spurs cut for Stratford as decision date nears
Published:Tottenham Hotspur have been cut by Ladbrokes to secure the bid for the Stratford stadium.
With the decision due this week money is starting to return for Tottenham with the bookies responding by trimming their price into 7/2 from 4/1.
West Ham remain the odds-on favourites at 8/13 with 2/1 the price about neither side securing the bid. A shared stadium appears unlikely at 50/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “With the announcement imminent we’re starting to see some money again for Spurs but it doesn’t appear enough to trouble West Ham at this stage. The shared bid looks like the only option we can rule out with any confidence.”
