Wayne Rooney is 7/4 with goal of the season with Ladbrokes.

After his stunning Derby Day winner the bookies have immediately introduced him as a 7/4 shot for the award, despite the final shortlist remaining in the balance with plenty of the season left.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We were so impressed with the winner that it immediately earned a goal of the season quote. Any United fans who fancy reinvesting their winnings from today now have a great opportunity to collect again.”
